Welcome to my shop!

I am City and Guilds qualified in upholstery and love what I do. I have a small workshop at the bottom of the garden, where I retreat to and indulge in my passion.

Here you'll find a selection of chairs I have sourced for you. They are pieces with one foot in the past and one foot firmly in the now.

At Appleby Upholstery the chairs are stripped right back to the framework and completely restored, any woodwork will also be restored. I use both traditional methods of upholstery and modern, where appropriate.

I will add my own creations from time to time, with an eye on Mid-Century styling. With quality craftsmanship at the heart of everything I make.

I hope you like my pieces, they were a labour of love.
